I used The Hotel Collection to stay at the Charter hotel downtown Seattle. Got upgraded to their biggest suite, got the $200 annual credit towards the rooms, plus a $100 credit towards valet (thank God, because Valet was $55 a day). On top of that I have gold status through the card (having stayed 0 nights this year at Hilton) and they gave us a $15 credit per person per day for breakfast. $390 in value in one stay without taking into consideration the suite upgrade cost.
However, this was super enlightening because I thought those benefits were 2 nights minimum and only annual to get the perks. I didn't realize the FHR properties don't have a 2 night minimum. And it's just the $200 credit that's annual, not the $100 experience credit.
Can't wait to do this next time I go to Vegas!
Had an FHR stay booked at the Crockfords this past weekend. After watching the video last week, I went back to check my reservation. First off, the price had dropped quite a bit so I cancelled and re-booked at the lower rate. I wanted to try Seb's big-brain upgrade plan, but there were no suites available. Still, for a $9 difference figured I'd enjoy the strip view at least and hope for the best. At check-in, a quick scan of the app showed the entire hotel was sold out so I wasn't even going to inquire about an upgrade, but lo and behold we somehow got proactively bumped up to a 1 BR suite! What a serendipitous video, thanks Seb!

Ti like your videos! I have a question: Where can I find the original offer deal when I log into my AMEX account? I see the standard rewards, e.g., the Uber, Saks, Flights, etc., but I want to see the 125,000 points goal, what I signed up for.
It’s not in the docs I received with the card and I can’t find it anywhere on my account (not under membership rewards, account information, etc.) . When I call AMEX, they can tell me, but why can’t I access this myself? Once I hit the $6,000 spend, what if they tell me, “Sorry, you were offered 100,000.” ? Thanks!

Is there a limit on fine hotel usage?
I have a 4 day stay in Las Vegas. I was thinking of hopping back and forth between hotels to get the food credit since it's based on stay. I was wondering if there was a limit say go to hotel #1 Monday, #2 Tuesday, back #1 Wednesday, and back to #2 on Thursday. Maybe Crockford and Conrad. Kind of a pain to move around but I'm cool with it.

YMMY honestly at Crockford, they are notoriously stingy about giving upgrades to Diamond members and even FHR or… FHR AND Diamond.
They had a bunch of suites available during our stays (I know that since most of them are still bookable), but they didn't upgrade us till we ran into an issue in our original room.
